Peter D’Ascoli and Tapestry, have co-created a unique signature Curated Collection of luxury furnishing fabrics – Wanderlust – inspired by the former’s passion for globetrotting and his affection for Indian heritage textiles. Available in India only through Tapestry, the collection represents D’Ascoli’s love for the art, history and culture of India.
In Wanderlust, D’Ascoli reimagines the rich and vibrant handcrafted textiles of India, for contemporary living. The collection travels India, the land of ancient traditions and artistic heritage, to draw inspiration from cultural symbols like Mughal-era Motifs, Jamavar Shawls, and the architectures of age-old palaces to translate them into an evocative family of eight designs, namely, Nawab, Srinagar, Tipoo, Kashmir, Rani, Deccan, Diwan and Jaali.
Ideal for creating formal to casual ambiences, these have been digitally printed on Silk Satins, Linens, Cotton Velvets and Cottons. Colourways include warmer tones such as Taupe and Gold, and bolder more dramatic tones of Indigo and Red.
